Mansoon Han Kim
Mansoon Han Kim, pianist, is an active performer, educator and winner of multiple competitions, including the Yale Gordon Competition, the Yook Young Competition, the Piano Music Competition Nan Pa Music Competition in Korea, and the Clara Ascherfeld Accompanying Award, Peabody Career Development Grant in the US.

Ms. Kim has performed throughout the United States including Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in New York City, Canada, South Korea, and China. She was a member of Anchor Piano Trio, and collaborated with members of the Maia String Quartet, Ceruti String Quartet, the Anchor Trio, as well as Peter Landgren, principal French horn with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and soprano Hyunah Yu, 1998 Naumberg Competition Winner.

As an educator, Ms. Kim is an adjunct professor, coordinator of the secondary piano area, as well as piano faculty of the preparatory division at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. She also held assistant Professorship of Piano at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. She has given master classes at Arizona State University, Southern Illinois University, and has adjudicated in numerous auditions and competitions in Michigan and New Jersey.
A native of Seoul, Korea, Dr. Kim began her piano studies at the age of six. She won numerous competitions and received her Bachelor of Music degree with honor from Seoul National University. In 1992, she came to the United States to study with renowned concert pianist, Ann Schein at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where she received both her Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees. Her summer festival participation included the Aspen Music Festival, the Orford Arts Center, and the Kent Blossom Summer Chamber Music Festival. She was in master classes given by Mennahem Pressler, Leon Fleisher, Abbey Simon, Jorg Demus, Sergei Dorensky, and Gabby Casadesus.

Dr. Kim resides in New Jersey with her husband and two daughters.
